Daylight Saving Time Comes Early in 2007

The United States and Canada have changed Daylight Saving Time (DST) from the first Sunday in April to the second Sunday in March — March 11, 2007. This earlier date is intended to provide more usable daylight earlier in the year and reduce energy consumption in homes and businesses.

TIAA-CREF has tested our information systems for adaptability to the new calendar and taken appropriate steps to ensure our service commitment to you. As we near March 11, we will continue to monitor our systems closely.

The DST change may also apply to your home computer or other personal electronic devices. Please consult manufacturer websites for recommendations to ensure your personal electronic devices will work properly.
